I'd kindly ask you not call it "mod FAQ", 'cause I reckon that'd cause
some confusion in the mod-newbie world, as there is another "mod FAQ" for
the Usenet newsgroup alt.binaries.sounds.mods, maintained by myself.
Whatever you call it, you might want to send me an email about it when
you're finished (gimme a link and so on) and I could put it in my FAQ.
Thanks.

You can download CoolEdit 1.50 from the CoolEdit homepage at:

to the downloading page directly) It's 731,338 bytes in size.
Alternatively, or if you don't have WWW access, you can ftp it from:
ftp://ftp.ep.se/cool/cool150.zip
It's mirrored on:

And if you hate piano and like industrial noise, or if (like me) you like
everything (except country music :), check out "Dirt" by Khyron,
k-dirt.zip on kosmic.wit.com in kosmic/songs/95/
I'll post it to the klf-list shortly too, we have been experiencing
difficulties on the account i have to post klf-list stuff from but they
should be fixed soon.

Well, that didn't come to mind, but NIN's "Suck" did, mainly because that's
where a good deal of the samples came from . "Dirt" SOUNDS kick-ass, but
I can get the same thing (much like k-bugs) by buying a NIN CD at WalMart.
Please, keep the industrial S3M's/XM's coming, but be original this time.
